Directions from PortlandOur winery is located in the Willamette Valley of Oregon, just under the Chehalem Mountains.
Drive south from Portland on I-5. Take the Tigard/99W exit (#294) and go southwest on 99W through Tigard, Sherwood, and into Newberg.
After 16.3 miles, at the western end of Newberg, turn right on Highway 240 (Main Street) where a green highway sign points to Chehalem Valley and Yamhill. Follow Highway 240 as it curves left out of town for 1.5 miles until you reach Tangen Road. Turn right and follow Tangen Road for 1 mile to its intersection with North Valley Road.
Turn left on North Valley Road and proceed 2.3 miles to Calkins Lane, watching for a blue Adelsheim Vineyard sign on your left (if you reach Ewing Young School, you have .3 mile too far).
Turn right on Calkins Lane and drive .5 mile until you reach the far end of a white fence running along the right-hand side of the road. Turn right through the gate (marked 16800) into the driveway at Adelsheim Vineyard; the winery's main parking lot and entrance are to your left.
Directions from McMinnville:
Drive north from McMinnville on Highway 99E for 2.9 miles. Upon entering the town of Lafayette, the second left you can take is marked with a sign to "Trappist Abbey". Turn left (north) onto Abbey Road and proceed for 5.6 miles (after 4 miles, Abbey Road joins with Kuehne Road) until you reach Hwy 240.
Turn right (east) onto 240 and travel 1.5 miles to Dopp Road (just after a large red barn with white fence on your right). Turn left and follow Dopp Road for 1 mile to its intersection with North Valley Road.
Turn right (east) on North Valley Road for .3 mile to Calkins Lane, watching for a blue Adelsheim Vineyard sign on your right (this is the first left you can take on North Valley Road from the intersection of Dopp and North Valley).
Turn left on Calkins Lane and drive .5 mile until you reach the far end of a white fence running along the right-hand side of the road. Turn right through the gate (marked 16800) into the driveway at Adelsheim Vineyard; the winery's main parking lot and entrance are to your left.
